The human body is inherently designed to be self-organizing, self-regulating, and self-correcting.
This means that the body and the subtle energy systems can potentially re-organize continuously toward better or optimal functioning. Sometimes, however, intervention or assistance in this process is helpful or necessary.
Carly's practice is inspired by this potential of the body towards optimal alignment and ideal function. She aims to use Acupuncture, traditional Chinese herbs, scent, sound, and subtle energetic techniques to create the space for the body to drop in and begin the journey back to wholeness.
Carly received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from Dongguk University Los Angeles in 2017. She is a Nationally Certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and holds state licenses to practice Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in both Alaska and California. She holds certifications in Advanced Constitutional Facial Acupuncture and is trained in Community Trauma Field Work through Acupuncturists Without Borders.
