Incredibly thin needles are strategically placed to promote collagen production, target pigmentation, treat saggy areas like the jowls and neck, sculpt and define cheeks and jawline, or relax tightened muscles that lead to TMJ and deep forehead wrinkles, depending on your goals and concerns.
A custom treatment will always be prepared for your individual needs.
Following acupuncture treatment, our tools go to work.
Gentle cupping for the face and neck to sculpt and define the face, while also promoting lymph drainage to reduce puffiness.
Gua Sha tools are used to sculpt and create more clearly defined cheeks and jawline, lift the brow and eye, and smooth and lift sagging neck muscles, while also smoothing the nasal labial lines, under-eye, forehead and scalp. Light Emitting Diode (LED) phototherapy is the application of light energy to tissue to obtain therapeutic benefits. The energy is used to improve cellular performance. Phototherapy is known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties and has a variety of applications across many medical fields. Research has shown that phototherapy can: increase circulation, accelerate tissue repair, decrease wrinkles, decrease inflammation, improve skin tone and wrinkles, texture and clarity, ease muscle and joint pain, stiffness, spasm and arthritis and kill acne bacteria, and much more.
LED therapy emits UV-free, beneficial light energy to the skin.
Red LED light has a wavelength of 630-700 nanometers which can reach down to the dermis and stimulate the skin cells known as fibroblasts which are responsible for producing collagen and elastin.
Red light helps to reverse some of the signs related to photo-aging in the skin.
In addition, some studies show that red light may help to restore hair for those with androgenetic alopecia, or male- and female-pattern hair loss.
Blue LED light has a wavelength between 405 and 470 nanometers, and is most often used to treat surface level skin conditions like acne by reducing activity in the sebaceous glands, so they produce less of the oil that can plug the hair follicles. Blue light while also kills acne-causing bacteria known as Cutibacterium acnes. Often blue and red light are used in combination to help fight acne — the blue light targeting the C. acnes and the red light targeting inflammation and redness.
Near-infrared light has a longer wavelength of around 900 nanometers which can reach deeper into the body's muscles and joints to promote microcirculation for tissue repair and pain management. Infrared emits warm and soothing light energy proven to temporarily relieve arthritic pain, muscle and joint pain and stiffness.
